What is LFID?

LFID is a lost-and-found service that connects lost items with their owners. Through a unique 13-digit code, honest finders can quickly and anonymously contact the owner.

Identity Protection

Your personal data stays protected. Only your email address is needed for communication — and only if you choose to share your contact details with the finder.

For Owners: Registration

  1. Choose a plan and create your account
  2. Receive your LFID code
  3. Attach the code to your items
  4. Optional: Order a starter pack with physical tags

For Finders: How to Report

  1. Visit lfid.net
  2. Enter the LFID code
  3. Leave your contact details
  4. The owner is automatically notified
